I personally won't read it, but I'm interested in the statistical speed at which it gets swept up into every genre. I've already seen like 20 different pornographic renditions on twitter of it, someone mentioned a fighting game, I'm just wondering how fast people jump on it in different genre.

My guess is that how long it will take is directly related to how much effort it takes to actually produce a half-decent result. Smut should be fairly fast, I would think.
