The way the detector works is that it flags sections of the writing without caring for context (I think). So the sections with those words won't get flagged. But others will,.

Even if there is monetization people individually decide what is worth their time and money at the end of day.

The problem is when you lie like many reality tv show or youtube channel.

It is a problem from an education pov though. I suppose the solution is for the homework to be done inside the classroom under the supervision of a teacher.

An AI detector mislabeled nearly every essay written by a non-native English speaker as being written by a bot.

This is because most of them are Phyrexian sleeper agents who haven't realized they have been compleated yet.

I'm not following why you're asking me to be more understanding. What do you want me to do about it ?

Obviously the AI detection system is flawed, the author of this thread proved it. Anybody using it to seriously "ban" others stories is an idiot and not worth your time.

If a site ban your story because of it then they are at fault, not you not even the AI it's the people who decided to use a flawed program.

You want me to pity you when you have done nothing wrong ? No, i'm gonna blame the idiots who used it and only want to cause problem and hurt others, a bit like cheaters in video games. They will allways exist and they will allways be a bother. There is not a single person who like cheaters.

Hence the solution is to not care if a story is made by a human or an AI.

Also those sites will eventually fail and vanish or adapt to accomodate AI stories because they cannot guarantee a 100% detection rate.
