I would really like to read more novels based in a modern setting. Modern fantasies, and even Si-Fi esthetics work too. It seems like all of your examples have male protagonists, so you might not like these ones, but here goes.

Vale's Kammiverse and any stories written in it tend to be Modern Day. Her Gauntlette is alternate earth, but still 'Modern'.
Other World is Leaking is very Similar to the above.
Penumbra is kinda sci-fi super hero version of the first two.
Oscillation and Tail's Misfortune Should be modern day, though I haven't read them. I did read Undying Empire but that one's Isekai. It's technically the same setting and author, just not on Earth.

Uh... My story is technically a modern setting, but the MC doesn't care to go outside, so it might not really qualify.
