What do you think of people posting their novels in your profile page?

The question of the title. Someone who posted their first novel wrote their novel's link on my profile without permission, and, well, I wanted to know how you would react.

Seems kind of rude and I haven't seen anyone try this unless the profile owner asked for a link. I would most likely just ignore it or delete it, depending on whether it was something I didn't mind having on my page.
