Write whatever your comfortable with. Just be consistent. If you keep writing regularly, you'll naturally get better at it and be able to easy pump out 2k+ words a day.

Between 1000-2000.

But it depends on your target audience. If your target audience are teenagers, go for 3000. They have better attention span compared to adults.

I'm speaking this in my own experience. I work in office and it's so frustrating that some adults don't even read what is written in the contract.

My personal experience is I started with 500 words which I can roughly finish around an hour. After learning that it was too weak, I went for 1000 words. But it was still not enough to satisfy readers. As I continued to improve, I settled between 1000 to 1200 words. After I got experience and had gotten used to it, I could now write 1500 words to 2000 words without interruption within an hour.

Aim for 1000 words but don't feel bad if you can't get to that pace right off the bat. 600 is good to start. 800 is good to try for the next week or month depending on your pace.
