i haven't tried writing for them but they were my first site, and as such i have a certain noatalgia.

Nifty also invokes a lot of that, but I find there's a lot more controversial materials there.

it's not a bad experience as a reader. its certainly not modernized but if you deploy an ad blocker you can just relax.
