how does one cook octopus...how can you tell if it's done...
Scenario: A person had his memories, personality and consciousness copied at time X. Said copy is then thrown into a time dilation zone two times faster than the original time, eg. original time is passing at n days, time dilation zone is passing at 2n days.

Then after a time period in the original time, the person is once again brought back to have the copy's experience in the zone pasted on, not superimpose, back into his mind.

Question: What is the expected result?

Because in SAO, the whole time dilation thing is done when MC consciousness is one world at a time. In Re:Hamster and some other works, when memories merge, they don't often have too much difference in time, just their view now splintered.
In relation to chapter length, I don't like long chapters in web novel format. It doesn't work well with scrolling. Most of the time (not always) I will avoid WNs with average chapter length that gets into 5-6k

I like writing shorter chapters. My diary series is ~500 words long every chapter because they are supposed to be diary entries for my character from "The Dangerously Cute Dungeon". Most of my other lightnovel style works are between 1k-2k words long, which, combined with my writing style, gives them a very episodic feel.

I've had some people complain because they think the longer the chapter the better and I've had others compare it to petite fours because they are "short and sweet". I think everyone just kind of has their own opinion on what they like. Personally, I don't care, but, if you don't like an author's writing style, you should find something else to read instead of complaining at them about it, you know?

I will not complain at authors for chapter length or whatever, but sometimes an author wants feedback about things, and I will give it.

Our cat’s kidneys aren’t working and we will probably have to put him to sleep tomorrow. Hopefully today isn’t too painful for him. His meow sounds different, and we couldn’t give him medicine for his gums…
I won my first even game of the day! Lost six and deranked twice…
The sound of a sharp blade cutting flesh was heard, and the man who was rushing in the front opened his mouth, his face full of pain and confusion, and slowly lowered his head.

I saw an arm piercing into his chest and out from his back, going through him from front to back.

With another "puff" sound, the arm was withdrawn from his chest, leaving a transparent bloody hole the size of a bowl.

Then, he threw his body heavily, knocking another escapee to the ground.

Before the man who was knocked down could get up, Zhang Zhiwei had already approached him, and stepped on his head with great indifference.

“Puff!”

Blood splattered, brains flew, and before he could even scream, he was already dead.
