I understand the essence of light novels is being quick and direct, but I really wish most could put a little more effort into describing settings and characters.
Another abandoned story concept: Mystery novel but the mc has the psychic ability to instantly know who committed the murder, but he/she can’t tell anyone about the ability, and has figure out how to get evidence that would be admissible in court
Was gonna upload a story today but got distracted and just played helldivers 2 all day long. I have 2 stories with almost complete covers, just gotta decide which one. I don’t have the effort required to put finishing touches on two at once
I have like half a dozen starts of stories. Like first 6-10 chapters. Once I get far enough into one I either get a better idea, lose interest, or see a substantial improvement in writing skills and want to start over.
Don't know if I should just say fuck it and release some.
New free story idea: wuxia cultivation story but instead of cultivating chi or something mc cultivates gunpowder and makes bombs, guns, and fireworks for weapons.
Another story I’ll never get around to writing (for real this time). Isekai story but it’s all about the truck driver getting charged with vehicular manslaughter and how it slowly ruins his life. (Not that he wouldn’t deserve it)
Story idea I'll likely never use. Grim dark fantasy protagonist is iskai'd to generic light hearted harem iskeai world. Basically like berserk->konosuba
Been reading more scribblehub stories lately. Don't get far into most. Notice a big chapter 1 problem is people just not describing the mc or pov character or describing them far too late.
