Introduction

Welcome to the Quest Board! You can find all sorts of interesting news and gossip on this bulletin board.​

I know this might be kind of weird if you're not familiar with it, but this glowing thingy is called a Butterfly. It's a magical sprite that's powered by the Queen's magic, and you can summon it anywhere in the world. No matter how far away you are from the Archipelago, you can call on a Butterfly to access the Quest Board and file your reports. It's a neat guild perk, right?​

Anyways, if you see anything interesting on the Quest Board, you might as well go investigate it, right?​

​

Alternatively, you can add something to the Quest Board and ask someone else to handle it.​

Taking Quests

• Pay attention to the location where the quest is posted. Is your character in the right area to take the quest?
• Does your character meet the prerequisites in order to take a quest?
• Once you've picked a quest, go write the story!
• Once you're done writing, go to the reception desk to link your quest report.

Creating Custom Quests

Anyone can create a custom quest~! If you have an idea, go right ahead and post in this thread!

Custom Quests should include the following information:

• Tag List: List of players who want to be notified when a quest report is submitted
• Prerequisites:
• Objectives:
• Description:
• Rewards: This is usually determined by the receptionist but you can specify certain rewards if you want

Q: Who can sponsor my custom quest?

• Your character can sponsor the custom quest.
• You can make up an NPC to sponsor the custom quest.
• You can have the Guild sponsor the quest, if you believe that the Guild would want to sponsor it.

Q: How do I get ideas for a custom quest?

• If you read quest reports at the reception desk, often there are loose plot threads that can be explored further.
• Honestly... anything, you know? It can be as big or small as you want.
• E.g. Farmer Joe needs to cross the river, but the bridge is broken.

Q: What do I do after someone takes my quest?

• If it is a non-repeatable quest, please strikethrough your quest to indicate it is no longer available.
• If it is a multi-part quest, update your post with links to the quest reports with new information.
