Say they wore a sleeveless dress and high heels. Or
Pink blouse, jeans, and tennis shoes.
I don’t believe you need to overly detail their clothing.

I don't know dude, that fifth white stripe on the shoe being slightly greyed out than the rest of the stripes changes some things.

I like the first description to be detailed, but once you know the type of outfit that character is going to be associated with, you can have simpler descriptions for subsequent outfit changes.

Exceptions would be the character changing into something vastly different and contrasting from what they've been shown to wear.
