Minotaur never ate grass, he was a killer right from the start, plus he was imprisoned for all his childhood so i doubt he would have any empathy for cows

The minotaur is a mammal, and all mammals (except some unlucky humans) suckle on Mom's teat, so that's already a form of cannibalism.

Poultry birds are known to commit cannibalism under adverse conditions.
Serious answer tho, cannibalism is really common in the animal kingdom.

aquatic ecosystems: approximately 90% of the organisms engage in cannibalistic activity at some point in their life-cycle.
I remember a goldfish tank as a child when one died, an hour later, the other fish devoured their former "friend" leaving half a corpse another hour it was like it was never there....

Bears and lions kill and eat the offspring of adult females to make them more receptive to mating. Chimpanzees sometimes cannibalise unlucky rivals, usually infants, seemingly for the mere opportunity of some extra protein.
