Once more I must partake of this cup.

While I'm still sober and capable of proper cognition (God bless autocorrect) I'll ask this question.

So ma boy is having his graduation today and there are a lot of girls and drinks around. I really really do t want to drink anymore as I tend to lose focus when I do but am helpless as it is a celebration today and I feel that I owe ot to the graduate to participate

I've already participated in a lot of drinking games( like a quarter paper cups*5) but I don't want to continue anymore. How can I persuade these alcoholics to let me go.

Say "Nah, I'm good." "No more for me."
Stop drinking.
If they respect you they will honor your wishes. If not, then they are not likely your friend.

Or, you know, just walk away from whatever location you are from, and take some fresh air the the nearest park bench.

The posts above me are also solid advice, so +1 to them too.

Coincidentally, I'm also piss drunk right now, because a colleague at the office was fired today ("budget cuts") and for some reason I took it more personally than usual, and I drank a lot, cried out my eyes a lot, thought a lot, shouted profanities at the world a lot.

A stranger at bus stop asked me if I was okay (I was escorting another colleague who was drunk like me, I live in the office area), and what I could say - faith in humanity is restored. We'll pull through, no matter what, cause at the end of day, we do what's right and the Great Cosmos smiles upon us for our efforts.

Let's hope I don't puke.

Regards,
Sagacious

Considering the logical answers above, here's some faker answers.

Get two whiskey flasks. Fill one with tea. Fill the second halfway with whiskey. Nurse the tea one, while sharing the real one if asked. Those one kinda requires a jacket with an inner pocket to pull off the swap right.
The easy method is to just have half a flask of the strongest thing ya got, and fake drink it. You'll get booze breath without having to actually get drunk.

Can also just fake a mudslide with cold coffee, or a bloody Mary with just v-8. Or a Long Island ice tea with just ice tea.

Personally I prefer the whiskey cause most people won't mix beer with hard liquor, thus not ask for any.

Just say no and sip on some water for a bit. If you have a cup, no one will care what's in it.

It doesn't work that way bro 😔
Shame.

Okay, you seem serious. Why not just tell them straight? No is no and means no. If you can't really say no, then find some excuses to get out of there.

I still insist on grabbing a girl, though. Maybe find a familiar face? Or look for someone who looks like they're sharing the same fate with you at the moment. That will work wonder.

I would quite literally drink myself to death with any more than one glass with the medicine cocktail I take, so I wouldn't know how to help you. (Where I am, an 18 year old drinking is perfectly legal, as long as a sober adult of 21 or older is supervising.)

Get some water, say you don't want a hangover tomorrow, never take another alcoholic drink for the rest of the night you can still partake in their games but you won't get drunk.
