Lately, I've been feeling like there is no way that my friends here online are the same people as just a week ago. Not philosophically, but that someone replaced them and is trying to dupe or trick me. I know that isn't the case. But whenever they compliment me, it feels like they must be assholes who picked up my friends' laptops trying to mess with my head. I hate it!!! Do you guys ever feel that or is it just a particularly odd strain of paranoia for me?
What are some issues that you guys uniquely struggle with?

It is just a particularly odd strain of paranoia for you.
You know, now that I think about it... Isn't all paranoia particularly odd?
I guess mine's just average paranoia, maybe? Regardless, thanks for the comment!

I have certainly changed, but my compliments remain sincere.

Remember, I don't stab people. I make no promises about my book, however.
...
I have so many questions, but they make me look like one paranoid b****. Zipping my lips.

@Tempokai I don't have schizophrenia though... nor brain injury/dementia... :blob_teary:
Why the congratulations?! That's scary!
I am here, yet I am not.

And that is not a lie if you think about it.
True...
But you are you, right? Regardless of what affectation or persona you give yourself, it all comes from the same brain/body, right?

Not really. I am me right now, but I am not the same person, not even remotely who I was eight years ago. All those cells are already gone, dead, and I have been renewed. So is everyone else.

The question is, are we really us?

Are we the brain, or are we the thoughts that control the brain?

Who knows at this point...
