The 27 Chapter Method

Does using the 27 chapter method makes the series repetitive in volumes 2 and later? I'm just asking out of curiosity.

There are a lot of studies proving that the 27-chapter method is BS and as long as a story follows the 3-act rule it doesn't matter. As for volume 2, well, as long as there are still 3 acts then it should be fine.

The 5 structure act works well if the book is well paced. Otherwise, it can cause issues. Though this is the same for the 3 act structure as both have the same problems.
