So, today, someone asked me
Is NSFW allowed here?

And that got me wondering,
What is NSFW?

It usually means 2 things,
Not Safe For Women, ie, things that would make a woman disgusted

Not Safe For Work, ie, things you can't share with your colleagues or else you might get fired.

But aren't they totally weird, on this platform?
Here, woman are as lewd as men. Often times more.

And if I share the picture of Senko san with my colleagues, I would still be visiting HR for having pictures of underage kids. They won't listen to how she is actually 900 years old.

So...
What is NSFW?

I’ve never heard this meaning before. If I haven’t heard of it, it obviously doesn’t exist so we can focus on not safe for work.

For that one, you need a job first. So I recommend that you don’t worry about it.

I have NEVER heard "not safe for women". Why would anything be safe for men and not women? Maybe that's specific to your culture?

"Not safe for work" -- that is, something that could get you in serious trouble/fired if someone noticed you looking at it at work/school/etc (usually sexual, profane, or particularly disgusting in nature), is the meaning here.

Really? Not safe for work is something I have heard recently.

And NSFW 's full form is not something part of my culture

I have never heard the woman part either, and I've been on the internet for a while. I think in the 90s it was actually Not Safe For School Kids, but the meaning was similar.

Is there a culture where men go through childbirth and women don't because it's considered unsafe?
Or were you thinking of this fantasy world:
But aren't they totally weird, on this platform?

Thanks for the compliment!

Its not safe for work.

I have never in my life heard "not safe for women"

Even in the most weird broy chambers online.

No one ever says that

Usually it mean gore and or porn. The lessor known is "dead dove do not eat" it is more nsfl (not safe for life) ie really messed up

And from what I have seen... scribble hub allows alot smut and written porn (albiet only if plot is attached). Not that Im against it or anything

It generally refers to pornographic stuff, which is allowed in Scribbly for the most part, though you can't have a cover that shows pornographic stuff.
