A year ago I would've given you a pantheon of requirements for a story to suit my liking to a tee. I would've said some nerd ass shit like "non linear story telling" or "active protagonist involvement" or "minimal purple prose" or some other shit that would dry up a pussy faster than frostbite

right now if you got a character with decent honkers you already sold me. doesn't matter if they're a passing minor character. a sentence like "the inn barkeeper with a noticeable bosom" would make me lock-in like I'm tryna pass Face-ID.

trust me, after you go through legions of horrible prose and unmitigated, locker-shoving worthy pretentiousness you'd start finding enjoyment in sparse simplicity.

What do you have a soft spot for, what genre, trope, setting, or plot that even if the writing is a bit bad, even if it's a bit predictable you'd still have some fun reading...

Actually, bonus question,

Do you know the difference between what you like and enjoy and what is "good" and done well?

Or do you always think what you like must be "good" and not trash?
Ehehe I like hidden identities/power… maybe too much. I live for the suspense/underestimation of a person then them doing something insane. For example, when Yuna was escorting the school kids in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, Mythra’s reveal in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Lucina from some Fire Emblem game (even though I’ve never played Fire Emblem), and probably a bunch of other I forgot.

Do I know the difference between what I like and what is good? I want to say yes, but I’m no writing critic. If I enjoy it, it counts as “good” to me, which means that the actual answer is probably not. Although, I can still recognize if it really sucks. I think.

I enjoy reading stories with girls love elements in them. I also enjoy reading crossover fanfictions that involve two or more characters from different worlds interacting with each other.

To answer your bonus question, yes I am aware of the fact that some of the stuff I read is considered to be trashy work by others. But I still end up enjoying them regardless of how bad they may be.
