A secret organization has infiltrated Earth, and there are many superhero factions that exist behind the scenes. The Magical Girl of Love and Justice approaches you and says that you have been selected as a candidate to become a magical girl/boy.​

The magical girl explains that Magical Girl/Boys are basically emotional leeches. They obtain magical power by absorbing strong emotions of people (i.e. hope, despair, happiness, sadness, etc.). Generally speaking, there are good guys (who specialize in positive emotions) and bad guys (who specialize in negative emotions), who generally fight against each other.​

She approached you because the former villainess magical girl who lived your hometown died a few years ago, and there hasn't been any evil in your hometown for a while. The heroine magical girl thinks this is a problem because everyone is too complacent, and it's difficult to have strong positive emotions without a villain to instigate dramatic situations. As a result, the Magical Girl of Love and Justice has been short on magical energy lately, which is a problem for her.​

Consequently, she would like you to become the new bad magical girl/boy (who collects energy from negative emotions).​

​

Her main request is that you go be a bad person and do lots of bad things. If you give people tons of negative emotions, you will collect a bunch of magical power and be able to do all kinds of interesting things with magic (i.e. you will be able to fulfill some of your wishes/desires). Meanwhile, she will fight against you as the Magical Girl of Love and Justice, and she will be able to collect her own magical energy by saving people from your evil actions. ​

She warns you that everyone will probably hate you for being the villain. The civilian police/FBI might investigate you for your crimes, and there may be plenty of other justice-oriented vigilantes who want to see you dead. It is likely that you may not be able to live an ordinary life anymore, especially once you have chosen a path of evil and darkness.​

Finally, the Magical Girl tells you that she doesn't actually care about you.​

She just needs somebody to play the role of a villain. If you get caught by other superheroes, she won't lift a finger to help you, and she will leave you to your fate. She will disavow any connections to you and deny that she played any role in recruiting you.​

She gives you a sheet of paper with an address to a cemetery and says that if you would like to become an evil magical girl/boy, you just need to go to the grave of the previous evil magical girl, dig up the coffin, and take the previous magical girl's staff. Possessing her staff will allow you to inherit the former magical girl's powers.​

2. I'd give everyone welfare, make them completely dependent on me and useless without me. Welfare is better than drugs.

I would become an evil magical girl because they used the word villainess, which hooked me. However, don't think that I would be a simpleton of an evil magical girl! Ohohohoho! I have much greater plans than merely stirring up trouble for entertainment like the common fool.

I would instigate negative emotions in vulnerable sections of the populace. For example, I would amplify their feelings of envy. The targets are everything. With the right target I can become the ally of justice even in my evil actions. I would target those individuals who are already corrupt and amplify their dark desires until they destroy themselves and fall to ruin. Sometimes things get worse before they get better, don't they?

I would most likely choose envy because it is able to be used to drive people to ruin in many versatile ways.

Once the switch has been flipped it cannot be stopped. I don't have time for self-righteous fools' half-baked ideologies to weigh down my progress. I'll give them a delicious sophistry sandwich to the face. If they don't have to second guess their doctrines why should I? If they believe themselves to be perfect without room for argument, then why should I doubt myself?

I would keep on rolling until I become evil itself living in the hearts of the depraved. To defeat me one would have to remove all envy from the hearts of humans. Can a mere hero do that? My existence would become inseparable from human agency and immortal.

I would do it because it gives my life meaning. Being an evil magical girl is it's own reward, but I would probably try to save my mother so that I could garner pity from the heroes that want to stop me. They would think that I was only doing evil things to save my mother and that desperation was what sent me down the wrong path. Ohohohoho.

1. Never. There is no good or evil. Only perspective. Everything is a lie.

2. If enough people thinks I'm evil, everything I did became evil. I can collect magical power by simply existing. I don't have to do anything.

3. Either fear, grief, or doubts. But mostly fear. People are already afraid of me when I smiled at them. I'm not the type to show positive emotions around others.

4. I don't need more power. Absolute power are fabulous, but using it to swat a fly is ridiculous. The vigilantes are eons too early to start thinking about destroying me.

The thing would prove to me that the Magical girls are in it for profit and are fine with doing evil things. And that means that I wouldn't have to care about them.

If me becoming an evil magical girl/trap makes them profit then I will simply make it harder for them to profit. I would dig out the staff and hide it in a different place. Maybe move it to another town while I'm at it. Even if they can somehow detect it, it would take some time and if it's in another town then at least one town will be peaceful without them.

Anime taught me that there is always a heavy price and duty that comes with magical girl powers. And I don't like to lose control over my life and be forced to fight for whatever reason when ultimately it doesn't give me any profit.

Become hunted by the world just, so I could get powers that wouldn't be of any use to me? No. But it still is tempting... If I were to take it I would move to a different town anyway, to escape from the girl that knows about me and to give her nothing that she deserves.

They say that the things you regret the most in life are the things you didn't do. I would probably be wondering what would happen if I took the staff for myself for the rest of my life.

Hmmm... that is just me being pessimistic... but the MG of Love and Justice doesn't need a villain to fight, to save people, there are already plenty of people in the world that needs saving!

Sounds to me the MG of L&J is just too lazy to find and solve real problems in the world and is only interested in fighting an overly simplified icon in a neat package convenient for her to vilify.

But if it is the case that there is indeed no despair in the world without a villain, then the MG of L&J should pack up go home, The world has made her redundant. Find a new job.

If she is just too lazy or making positive energy, coz is too hard, so she wants to "make" a villain? My game plan is to murder her and take over as the new Love and Justice, Coz this current one is WEAK!!!
