If I can offer my individual opinion as a fantasy lover, can I suggest trying a different tactic for your cover and description?
Currently, neither tell me very much about your story, which means I don't really feel a draw to click to read it.
In terms of your cover, the scenery is pretty empty (the eye is drawn to the negative space instead of the tree), the colours aren't very eye-catching, and a tree doesn't say all that much about the contents of your story, at least from a newcomer's perspective.
The description also only provides me with very vague hints of setting, characters, plot, etc. Just enough to know it's a dark fantasy with some sort of traditional medieval/magical setting, but nothing about what sets it out from others of its kind.
Usually when I come to read a story blurb, I want to get a strong sense of the story's tone, setting, what the characters will be like, what their relationships might be, and what's going to be at stake.
I can see you've tried to hint at the stakes by saying the village is wracked with misfortune and that there's a god of decay but, since I don't know anything about your lore yet, that means very little and doesn't create an impact as a result.
I'm not saying this is the trick to gaining fame - but it might help grow your audience among the readership that enjoys this type of novel, if that's enough for you.
