Laptop is best to write with but phones and mobile devices are the best for recording small ideas and lore building

PC or laptop is best for writing big chunks, phones and tablets are uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. I use my phone only when I don't have access to my computer for whatever reason.

Writing in a paper notebook keeps me from going down internet rabbit holes every time I want to research something. I should have put that sentence in past tense since my kid doesn't let me write these days.
