I don't think that Scribblehub is lacking in any genre of fiction. it just happens that a lot of those stories aren't popular. I refuse to write smut and gender bender out of principle. However, they aren't popular. The majority of Scribblehub has their favorites and those genres that people say Scribblehub lacks just aren't their cup of tea.

Funny that you say that! I was planning out a story about a decent guy who ends up in the world out of an NTR story, and how he tries to navigate rebuilding his life despite all of the horny around him. There's not going to be any actual smut in it either, lol. As someone who stays far away from the very thing I'm mocking, it's hard to come up with ways to joke about the genre without it devolving into plain shaming. I've gotten some good advice though and it's starting to come along nicely, so maybe anyone can enjoy it?

We need more stories with actual god protagonists, most stories with god protagonists are just typical LitRPG Isekai with the tag slapped on. Like have the mc actually do some deity stuff like destroying the world and remaking it from the core up since it was so shitty.

I don’t find anything lacking here at all. The novels on this site fit my taste perfectly.

I think it comes with the territory. Like, if you want to read gender-bender or GL, then comes to this site. If you want LitRPG and the likes, then go to Royal Road. If you want something movie-like and mainstream, then go to Amazon or something.

So to answer your question, I don’t think SH needs anything more, as it already does a good job already.
