When you
try to be nice because it’s the right thing to do, but then feel like you’re doing it all for attention, which you aren’t getting, but then you remember that it’s ok to want human affection, but then remember that narcissists rarely feel in the wrong, so you google symptoms of mental health disorders, only for you to remember how your bosses’ boss called you neurotic just like themself, as a compliment, so you google what neuroticism is, and it comes up as “a mental condition that is not caused by organic disease, involving symptoms of stress (depression, anxiety, obsessive behaviour, hypochondria) but not a radical loss of touch with reality,” but then stop and wonder if you’re just nerve-wracked because you’re in a nerve-wracking environment
... well, you end feeling a little crazy!
